National Trainers:
The National Called to Witness: Believe Out Loud campaign has a dedicated core of 14 national trainers who both coach and support the Annual Conference Organizers and train the Annual Conference Teams.
Annual Conference Team Organizers:
The Annual Conference Organizers are a team of 3 to 5 people from each Annual Conference whose responsibility it is to organize the Annual Conference Team Training, support and coach team members, work with the BLOD organizers in planning the Gatherings and coordinate with the National Trainers to ensure the long term success of the campaign.
Annual Conference BOL Training:
Annual Conference teams recruit and plan for a one day training led by a Believe Out Loud National Trainer. This training includes organizing a team for action, telling our stories, invitations to new people, and planning a BOLD gathering.
Annual Conference Action Team:
An Annual Conference Action Team (ACT) is a group of dedicated Reconciling volunteers who gather for training and action. Their job is to coordinate BOLD Gatherings throughout their Annual Conference.
BOLD Organizers:
The BOLD organizers are a small group of people from the Annual Conference Team who commit to organizing one BOLD Gathering in their local area. They are responsible for inviting people to the BOLD Gathering, finding a host for the gathering, preparing the agenda for the gathering, inviting people to commit to the movement, following through with each BOLD Disciple and reporting back to the Annual Conference Team about the success of their Gathering.
BOLD Gatherings:
Each Annual Conference Team will organize a number of Believe Out Loud Disciples gatherings. Each small group gathering will consist of 12 disciples who will share their stories with one another and commit themselves to the movement for a fully inclusive church.
BOLD Host:
The BOLD Host is the person who hosts the BOLD Gathering. They are responsible for providing a location for the BOLD Gathering (it may be in their home or in another location such as the church), offering hospitality at the meeting, inviting 10 to 20 people to take part in the gathering, working with the organizer to create the agenda, committing to the movement through signing a RUM card, telling their story and pledging to the campaign, and meeting with the BOLD Organizers to evaluate the BOLD Gathering report.
BOLD Disciples:
Every person who comes to the BOLD gathering is a Believe Out Loud Disciple asked to commit in three basic ways: 1) To sign a Reconciling United Methodist Card; 2) To commit to sharing their story with others and 3) To make a monthly pledge to Reconciling Ministries Network for the continuation of our work to create a fully inclusive church.

Reconciling Ministries Network mobilizes United Methodists of all sexual orientations and gender identities to transform our Church and world into the full expression of Christ’s inclusive love.
